Glenn E Stevens – Lawyer in Beverly Hills, CA

I hired Glenn to help me purchase a house. At first he seemed both pleasant and competent, but I soon learned he was neither. On multiple occasions he gave us incorrect information or failed to mentioned crucial details until it was too late. He told us we would be able to apply for a loan, but after our offer was accepted, he let us know that we would not be able to apply for a loan. Also, he failed to mention our rebate would be substantially smaller than the standard amount until just before the deal closed and it was too late to change anything. These are both mistakes a good lawyer would not make, and these are only a few of the mistakes he made. Both mistakes cost me thousands of dollars. But here's the worst part: when I tried to have a calm, reasonable discussion about remedying these issues, he was condescending, dismissive and even vulgar/inappropriate. His rates are competitive, but when it comes to something as important as real estate, a small mistake can cost thousands. Unfortunately, I had to learn this lesson the hard way.

Law Offices of Dr Bill LaTour – Lawyer in Beverly Hills, CA

(Sorry so long, but accurate and honest)I secured the offices of Dr. Bill Latour and thought that I had a good attorney to represent me in my SSD case. Long story short, once I did have a court date, no one contacted me prior to court until 8pm the night BEFORE court. I was already asleep, but receive the guys message the very next morning before going to court. The attorney was there (not Mr. Latour, some young, unskilled attorney from his office), we talked in a room before going into court. Once in court, the judge asked a couple of questions and determined that she did NOT have all my medical records. She immediately postponed it until February of the following year (this is in November). The attorney promised to have the missing records to the judge within two weeks.I went to court on Feb 20 and the same judge was there. Ironically, there was a different attorney present. Not Mr. Latour and not the young guy who was at my first hearing. Once we were in the private room talking, I asked her why she didn't call me to familiarize herself with my case. I told her I was disturbed that there is a NEW attorney who I had never talked too yet again and didn't know if I felt confident in her ability to represent me. The judge's clerk came in and said she was ready. The attorney told her, "She's not sure if she wants me to represent her." I didn't care. Tell her all you want! I have to feel confident that my case will be represented accurately and proficiently. That means an attorney who is familiar with not only my case, but me as well. She mentioned one of my conditions' last test was negative. I said, yes, because of the medications working! I asked her, is that all you're hanging my entire case on, when I have several conditions that qualify under SSD? I said, you can also use the grid rules to win my case. She knew nothing about it (so sad). I ended up signing the form at the last minute, so she could go in and represent me. Before going in, she talked to me and my daughter off the record. She said, I should run for the hills and find another attorney. She said all the attorneys in their office don't receive cases until the night before the case. They have no time to review the case properly and decide if there is missing information, and if there is, they have no time to access the missing information since it is literally hours before court and all offices are closed by that time. She told me I am not getting my monies worth and I would be wise to chose another attorney.Once in court, the judge learned that in five days, I would be having a complete and total hip replacement. She was livid! She said she had no medical records that even indicated that I had any hip problems! I provided the approval letter from my insurance company, to which she reamed the attorney, citing that an insurance company isn't going to approve a total hip replacement unless there has been tests, procedures, and diagnosis that warrants and supports the need for a new hip! She told the attorney that they should be ashamed of themselves because they were not representing me adequately and questioned their loyalty and ethics. She then looked at me and said, "Ma'am, it is ultimately YOUR responsibility to ensure your attorneys are working on your behalf." That was all she needed to say to me.Long story short, I filed to have Mr. LaTour fired, and it was granted by the judge. I then represented myself. The very FIRST time in court, I won my case! I worked hard to provide everything to the court and the judge told me at the end of court that she was approving my case! She also apologized as she saw all the complaints I submitted about the LaTour clan, and she stated my case should NOT have taken that long. I applied in Dec2010 and it was finally approved in August2014!I would recommend you chose another attorney or represent yourself. No one knows your case better than you!!!

Rosen Howard Z Atty – Lawyer in Beverly Hills, CA

I consulted with Howard Rosen at Posner & Rosen LLP regarding an employment discrimination claim. After disclosing all of my claims and issues with Howard, he provided me with some strategies to my case and how we should proceed with filing a lawsuit. An hour after speaking to Mr. Rosen, he contacted me and told me that he would not be able to represent me after all, but that if I can forward his contact info to my employer, he can see if we can resolve the case. A few months after my consultation with him, I learned that Howard had been retained by the employer that I had claims against, he didn't contact them to try and resolve my claims, he contacted them so that he can offer them representation! He was later retained by them AFTER my consultation with him. Not only did Rosen fraudulently represent my employer after consulting with me, he took adverse actions in my claims. A complaint and investigation through the state bar is pending. I trusted Mr. Rosen with details in my case, only to have him later use it against me after he decided to represent the defendant instead.

Salisbury Susan Attorney At Law – Lawyer in Beverly Hills, CA

This is all my opinions and belief based on my experience with attorney Susan Salisbury. DO NOT trust this woman at all when it comes to settlement agreements, as she will 100% screw you over after she and her client get the checks for the agreement. In my case, she settled with all of the defendants that were NOT guilty at all and lived out of state who just wanted this woman and her mentally ill nuisance client to go away. I was included in the settlement agreement and our lawyer signed on behalf of myself and the other defendants. After Susan Salisbury and her client cashed the settlement checks, I got an e-mail that because I was NOT physically present in the settlement agreement building, my lawyer's signature on my behalf was NOT good enough and that Susan and her psychotic client would continue litigation against me though they had been paid in FULL and signed an agreement. I retained another lawyer and we went back to court and the the judge a little small pint size man on an ego trip agreed with this old hag lawyer. Needless to say another 1-2 years were tied up in this litigation, I fought this old hag and her psycho client to the end and did NOT pay her a dime further but I want the public to know what this woman is all about. Further, during the lawsuit Susan Salisbury called me multiple times to say that if I paid her she would get her clients out of my life forever, asking for extortion monies. This woman was unprofessional, lied constantly to the judge, filed motions the day of the hearings and was VERY unethical. At some point we almost even had an altercation in the court house because she confronted me after she lost her motion to get the judge to turn over every single e-mail that I had ever used as if she was the FBI. That day I got lucky and a very professional and ethical judge replaced the pint size former judge so Salisbury of course lost her motion. She then confronted me in front of the elevators of the court house and threatened me. Needless to say I fought her to the end with my lawyer & she ended up getting ZERO from me & I SUED her client right back & tied her up in court for years!!!! This woman later on practiced law in a state that she did NOT have a license for with the same psychotic client. I say psychotic because I filed a lawsuit against her client in a my resident state and obtained her psychological records that clearly described her as mentally ill. I am sure 100% that salisbury knew about the mental state of her client but refused to notify any one and continued with her extortion lawsuit. Salisbury then provided legal services to this same client in a different state on the phone when she was NOT holding the license in that state. In my opinion this lawyer is a Major liar, unprofessional and VERY unethical. DO NOT settle with this woman, call her bluff and go to trial and VIDEO tape all her client's depositions and any settlement offers as she will cash the checks and come back for more. I know she is much older and I hope when she meets her maker in hell soon, she will hopefully soon pay for all the pain she has caused in this world. This is my opinions and beliefs based on my interactions with Susan Salisbury and I am writing this for the public's good and warning them of her unethical/unprofessional ways! Lawyers if you read this please play her bluff game & do NOT settle with this old Hag! She is a con artist of the worse kind in my humble opinion so beat her at her own game & take her to trial to call her empty handed bluff!

Tofer & Associates – Lawyer in Beverly Hills, CA

Alex Tofer! He doesn't even deserve a star! To start of this lawyer has neither respect nor any customer service and is very discriminating, I was stupid enough to hire him. I have never dealt with a person that when I think of their name it irritates me. The reason I am writing this about him is because of his unprofessional service, Whenever I would try to reach him he would always end up hanging up on me with no courtesy, he is a blood sucking attorney that does not realize that if you are hiring an attorney it is possibly because you are dealing with a sensitive issue and you need assistance. Needless to say It took him 5 years to settle my case. I was involved in a huge accident involving 5 other cars and my car was the first to get hit and guess how much he settled my case for?! $3,000!!! That's all!!! This guy will over charge you and charge you extra for foolish stuff. He runs a miserable business process and basically scams his clients to pursue with his service. One goes to an attorney to get help not to be disrespected and robbed! After dealing with him I have learned that he has been reported but nothing has been done to take his license away. This was a learning experience for me in choosing an attorney carefully.

Carpenter Zuckerman & Rowley – Lawyer in Beverly Hills, CA

it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. It's simple. My life was ruined and I lost everything material after a woman raced through a stop sign and t-boned my child and myself, pushing us into a parked SUV. The car we were driving was deemed a total loss.I was referred to CZR by my original attorney, stating the case was "TOO BIG" for him. I met with Steve Mazza initially who asked me if they took my case, would I be willing to get the surgery that was recommended by my Doctors. I answered that I would, of course. (I am missing a piece of vertebrae between my C-5 & C-6).In addition, I suffered from a 7 mil bulge/protrusion which I received numerous epidurals as treatment, which provided only temporary relief. My income of 80-90,000 was jeopardized as I was an internet entrepreneur and could no longer sit at the computer. I had an amazing business and life. A single Mom, while I worked many hours but my business afforded me the luxury of a flexible schedule so I could keep close eye on my teenager. All this changed following this accident.I was forced (under duress) and almost 2 years of extreme pressure to accept a settlement. By the time medical bills were paid and Carpenter, Zuckerman and Rowley received their money, there was no money left to get the surgery that I desperately needed and had agreed to get. We were six figures short! Big swing. I am faced with debilitating pain every day. I am unable to work and definitely NOT the same woman I was prior to this accident. I have been struggling ever since and it has adversely affected my child's life.I provided CZR with every document they needed, income etc. My teenaged child and I lost our residence and my source of income. With few options I was forced to live in a shelter and my child was forced to live with friends in order to finish the last year of high school. Separated from my child, the stress was too much from all of this and I had heart failure. Subsequently, I was forced to have heart surgery. I would call this "cause & effect". I was born with a heart defect and the stress caused by this accident and the events that followed were all a huge factor in regards to my condition.Bottom line… my experience was that they did not have my families best interest at heart. Also, they told my child that they would NOT take their fee out of her (very small) settlement. They did take their fee.
