Joseph Golian – Attorney At Law – Lawyer in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA

If you're looking for an attorney who is diligent, smart, and someone who will actually get the job done, Joseph Golian is your person! Not only is he fully attentive to his clients, but I've also learned through experience that having an aggressive attorney is indispensable toward winning your case especially with these insurance companies.Additionally, I have found that many other attorneys are not so easy to work with for obvious reasons, but Joseph is extremely kind, compassionate, and friendly with his clients, which was very helpful for me through such a stressful process. It was very easy for me to trust leaving my case in his hands, and as many others have said to me, he won't let you down!Joseph Golian is the best attorney in Los Angeles, hard working, and professional, therefore, I'm really grateful that multiple acquaintances introduced me to him. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

The Ticket Clinic – Lawyer in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA

They did nothing for the $199 they took. My ticket went from $300 to $600, not including the traffic school. I'm convinced they did little more than appear. That's what a Bailiff told me today. They don't really fight. Just go through the motions, hand the judge whatever citations they have, and leave. And the judges are on to them, and many don't care. They said they 'convinced' the court to give traffic school. That's like convincing the counter person at McDonalds to give you ketchup, and then telling your friends you went the extra mile. Complete rip off. Go to court yourself. You'll be better off. Boo, Ticket Clinic. You should be refunding people their money.

The Ticket Clinic – Lawyer in Hollywood, CA

Don't waste your time or money with the Ticket Clinic. In October of 2009, I went through a crosswalk on Sunset Blvd at rush hour as pedestrians were entering on the other side of the street. A motorcycle cop pulled me over and wrote me a ticket. I had just completed traffic school for another minor incident the week before and knew I was ineligible for traffic school.I approached the Ticket Clinic and were told by their staff that 90% of their clients walk away with the ticket dismissed. I asked how and they essentially said that they have lawyers that work with the same judges all the time and they know the system better than an inexperienced citizen. I gave them my $199- mostly just not wanting to deal with the ticket.Nothing happened for a long time. Six months went by before I got a notice in June from the court saying I was to appear in court before the judge. The Ticket Clinic also sent me a notice saying they would appear on my behalf and I need not go into court. However, they failed to appear on my behalf. I received a notice from the court and a new date was set. I called the Ticket Clinic to attempt to meet with the lawyer at the courthouse and go in together. I was interested in the legal proceedings but also wanted to make sure my case was handled. No one showed. I waited for an hour in July in the middle of a work day. I called the Ticket Clinic. They don't give out their lawyers phone numbers. I eventually left- and called the Ticket Clinic office which said that the person might be in a different courtroom. So reassuring.A month later, I received a notice in the mail that I had to pay the full ticket- $276 plus do traffic school and no point would be issued on my public record by the DMV. I went to do traffic school online and went to the court's website to get my case number. There was a notice on the court's website (after entering my license number) that said that the case was still open and I had to appear in court before Friday. This was a Tuesday and I was visiting Boston. After talking to several representatives and being mysteriously disconnected, eventually the Ticket Clinic was able to call me back and explain that this court appearance was a mandatory appearance before the clerk. The lawyer was able to extend that appearance by three months, but they warned me to make sure to appear by that date- as if this screw up was my fault.I appeared before the clerk- waiting almost an hour, paid the $276, paid $64 to sign up for 12 hour traffic school (standard for 2nd offenders, no online traffic school allowed)- and went on my way. I completed traffic school in a weekend- 8 hours one day, 4 hours the next, paying an additional $60 to sign up. I brought the certificate back to the court, waiting an hour in line.So I'm out $199 for the Ticket Clinic + $276 for the ticket + $64 for the court processing fee + $60 for traffic school- $599 total- all for a ticket I should have just contested by mail. Or had I seen the judge in person, I could have asked for a reduction in the price of the ticket. It's also November 2010 now- a year has gone by and I just finished dealing with this ticket. But what's worse- I go on yelp to look them up (after the entire incident) and there's a glowing review by a user named Gabe R, who has oddly very strange stats as mine, and has reviewed a bunch of places I've been and several places that have closed. I would not be surprised at all if the Ticket Clinic falsified this profile and made up a glowing review to compensate for all the negative ones here.If you look up the TIcket Clinic on the Better Business Bureau website- they are rated a D. Save your time and money and steer clear of these fakers.
