Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP – Lawyer in San Francisco, CA

Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is a horrible horrible law firm that compounds the challenges of highly skilled immigrants in an already challenging immigration system. Because of how incompetently they handled my case while I was at at a Big4 consulting firm, here are some of the consequences I have had to bear:1. Got thrown into a cycle of visa renewals that prevented me from traveling overseas to see immediate family members for more than 2 years2. Spent thousands to restart the Permanent Residency process from scratch with a new employer because Fragomen did not even get me a number in line after 5 years with the Firm3. If they had not dragged their feet in filing my application or were honest, I would have been a U.S. Permanent Resident in 2011. Instead, we're in 2015 and I'm still waiting for my Green Card. So after over 18 years in this country, I still face immigration-related challenges in accepting promotions, changing employers, and traveling to visit family. You can read more about my struggles, in part as a result of Fragomen's questionable handling of my Green Card application, over here:bit.ly/1Tbj1eM

B&D Law Group – Lawyer in San Francisco, CA

They pretty much seem to be screening for the quick and easy money. Hey, if the attorney doesn't have to do any work and my insurance does everything- why would someone need to hire YOU?Gave brief details of an accident to an intake person. At this point my insurer is looking at allowing 20+% fault on me and that's fine, even though I was hit by another car traveling at a tremendous speed. Basically a reckless driver slammed right into the rear of me as I finished crossing an intersection. The intake person jotted down some notes and said "the attorney will want to talk with you." She put me on hold a bit (where there is some very strange hold music), comes back on the line and says "oh, sorry he's on a conference call," and "he says you're at fault because…" and she quotes only the part of the law that may give me 20% liability- basically for having entered an intersection with very difficult viewing angles on my direction. The other party had full view of the intersection and failed to yield as required by CVC21802(b).I understand if these guys want to cherry pick the easy ones, many lawyers do that. But knowing that they do this, if they take your case then you're probably throwing away good money by hiring them. And the fact that an accident attorney practicing in California seems to know only one part of a very short but common California Vehicle Code (21802) is rather disturbing. I guess it's better to know this prior to hiring them than after.

The Law Offices of Dr. Bruce G. Fagel & Associates – Lawyer in San Francisco, CA

I experienced the same terrible treatment others have mentioned in their reviews. They promptly got back to me, quickly asked me two questions in regard to my potential case. At one point the "case manager" asked one of the question very quickly that I could not even understand her. I asked if she could please repeat it and with an annoyed sigh she did repeat it. I was slammed on hold so she could quickly discuss my case with Dr Fagel (yeah right). She comes back after a minute and says, "So sorry but Dr Fagel's case load is much too heavy at this time he…." I then said, I know you are giving me the brush off and I hung up. As bad as the customer service was I think I was more insulted in the dismissive attitude toward the people they are speaking with. We have been through a lot and are most likely in a dire or sad situation. Have a little compassion. When I told her I was a stage 4 colon cancer patient she acted as it I just said. nothing at all. just no compassion no nothing. Just get information and brush you off. Its sad when you can't even fake sincerity. By the way that first 5 star review is totally a fake. Probably Kristyann wrote it.

Same story. I wish I had done a search on them before I signed up for the trial. This company uses deceptive practices. I signed up for the trial and thought I wasn't going to be charged when the trial ended. Instead, I was charged monthly for the service and wasn't using it. Didn't realize it for months. No statements are ever sent. Do not use this company. total scam.

This site is a scam. They provide little information about their service. They've somehow managed to convince the USPS to site them as one of the few providers of online mailing services, but the whole business is run like a shakedown. You cannot explore the site's features without signing up for the $15.99/mo plan. You can try to cancel the plan, but you'll still receive a bill (in my case, my first bill was for $31/mo, even after I cancelled). Customer service is generally very responsive, and confirmed I had indeed cancelled the account, but the bills continue to arrive, with successively more threatening tones. Customer service continues to assuage that this is normal.I've gone through this same pattern with twice. Once for their personal account, and another time with their business account.Avoid this service if you can.
