Parker Stanbury LLP – Lawyer in San Jose, CA

I have this service through Legal Shield. This review was originally posted under that name but they've since "closed" it (through Yelp). This is their real entity.Generally speaking, for small business owners this is a great service. They will review up to 15-page contracts for free and answer legal questions you have. If you're a business owner, you can add personal service as well, that works the same way.One thing to remember is that it is all in how you approach the service. If you're asking questions ("What does this mean?" "What are the implications?" "How do I …" etc), then your interaction is covered under your agreement. The minute you ask for work product, you are entering fee-based work and no longer covered in your general service agreement. It helps to remember this when you're approaching the attorney.Overall, the service works very well. They will refer you to specialists (employment law, corporate law, federal, specific states..). On the whole my service has been good. I've learned a lot.One exception: Michael Song: He tends to treat the customers who come in through the service as an annoyance to him. He rushes conversations, he skips important nuances, and generally treats customers (who are not legal experts) as inept and annoying bugs he has to deal with. My every encounter with him has been that way. I now have a note in my file that he should never be assigned to me.Luckily, if you're unhappy with the experience with one lawyer, you are totally free to call back and ask to speak to someone else! I haven't had trouble with any other attorneys at Parker Stanbury.

HAQ Law Firm – Lawyer in San Jose, CA

I have only dealt with 3 other firms so I'm no expert here, but in my experience as a single mother who has been put through a tremendous hardship from what my ex did to me and what the other two firms didn't do, I can say Tash gets straight to the point and doesn't waste your time and gave me the best consultation over the phone. His retainer is no joke, but he gauges how difficult your case seems and gives the honest answer. If you can't afford him, take a risk and go somewhere that will eventually rip you off. Imo.

This is a scam. I should have printed postage directly from the USPS website. I regret being susceptible enough to this company's marketing that I even remembered their name. You must phone them to cancel your account. The number is 855-608-2677.

California Traffic Tickets – Lawyer in San Jose, CA

I used ca traffic tickets for a speeding ticket in a construction zone where the officer was "pacing" me. Joel was the person I dealt with very nice guy. I ended up losing the initial case but for an additional charge I was able to take the case to a trial DE Novo and won the case! Never had to even go to court. Out of site out of mind . Good job.

Kruger Law Firm – Lawyer in San Jose, CA

Her website shows a corporate meeting room in a high-rise building. The truth is, there is no meeting room, no high-rise building. Her office is a ground-level dump without windows on the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills border. Her rate is $400/hr, while most of the work is done by a clerk who doesn't seem to care much. Good luck to get your calls returned.I had "Vadim", the lawyer assistant, handle my case. On the only court appearance we had, he managed to show in a stained suit, not shaven. His knowledge of the case was so vague I wonder why he even came. He just couldn't let go of the calculator, trying to determine his legal fees based on our potential settlement amount. All along, Vadim was great at telling me what I wanted to hear to keep me quiet. Many times he gave me outright lies. It was just about separating me from my money. The case, its impact on my life … they were not interested.I understand finding a good lawyer is work. Get real professionals. As for the law offices of J.R. Kruger, do yourself a favor and pass. You will not be happy in the end.Had I been better informed I would have never hired these clowns. They cost me $10K for about 5 hours of clerical work and 3 hours of court appearance. Poor, disappointing work ethics. And for some strange reason, most positive reviews here are extremely positive. Jacky, did you write them yourself, or did you have Vadim do it?Despicable, small-time liars. Disbarment is the only fate you deserve.
