Aidan Butler – Lawyer in Sherman Oaks, CA

I would love to give him the five stars everyone else has unfortunately I can't due to the fact I can't even get a call back. How do people do business like that. Why advertise and why have people write reviews about your services then not respond to potential clients. Really ridiculous!! Shame on this guy!!

Law Offices of Robert F Brennan – Lawyer in Sherman Oaks, CA

Terrible experience with them on a personal injury case that was very cut and dry. I can't imagine a lawyer getting an easier case with this personal injury claim. It seriously felt like they dragged out the whole process for over eight months to make it look like they had done some labor on it, when in reality it was like pulling teeth to get them to do the most simple of tasks. I'm sorry, but they had such excessive/outlandish fees for the most minimum amount of work, and how they can do that to a person who was just seriously injured is simply perplexing to me. A personal injury lawyer is suppose to make you feel taken care of, we ultimately felt stressed that we would have to end up finishing off the case on our own because of their lack of willingness, and then take Brennan into a malpractice suit afterward. Honestly, yes the case was obviously won… but then, as I said, it was a very cut and dry win that didn't even need to be taken to court… and it still almost felt like I lost regardless because of how misrepresented I was in the end. I was desperate for a lawyer with short notice, which is why we went here in the first place as it was very close to my residence. However, looking back, I really wish we would have done more research and not just gone with the closest option. At one point, they even tried to get me to sign off on a lien document that was obviously affiliated with a scam company with impossible percentage rates. It made us seriously wonder if they were going to get some kind of kickback from said company with the way they tried to push it on me… Something is not right with this firm, it felt like they were only out for themselves without taking our own misfortunes into account. The only time he seemed even mildly interested in our case was when he found out the settlement was going to be six figures. If you want to feel like an after-though/final priority when it's down to the wire, then this is your firm. When I voiced my dissatisfaction, Brennan was completely aghast, put himself on a pedestal, and had the nerve to simply say that he "thought I was calling to thank him." Not sure how you can get much more disconnected than that from your client, when every other call we made to their firm over a period of more than eight months was in frustration and serious concern. Go elsewhere, he's only looking out for himself, and this is the exact reason lawyers get a bad name in the first place.

TelePacific Communications – Lawyer in Sherman Oaks, CA

TelePacific screwed my longtime clients by making it almost impossible for them to get out of their contract, even with an exit clause. They have a habit of having a very tight window for exiting, and they do what they can to make sure you miss the window. Sirius/XM does the same thing.I have no patience for companies that do that, even if the service is decent.

Ross Howell Sobel – Lawyer in Sherman Oaks, CA

After talking to several attorneys, Mr. Sobel was the only one that was not pressuring me into hiring him. I appreciated his thoroughness, professionalism and compassion. Being arrested for a DUI is emotionally painful and embarrassing, but Mr. Sobel highlighted my conviction / charges with optimism and didn't make false promises. I also appreciated the fact that he was extremely proactive even before my court date. He was very informative, helpful and ultimately an outstanding person to work with.

Parker Stanbury LLP – Lawyer in Sherman Oaks, CA

Short review:A heavily discounted law firm with an on-going payment system, similar to car insurance's payment system.Detailed review:I've been a customer of Parker Stanbury's (PS) pre-paid legal for roughly 9 years now. It's great to have an attorney to call every time you have a legal question. PS has a lot of attorneys working for them. Like at a restaurant, sometimes you get good service, sometimes you get bad service. Some people have wrote in their reviews that the attorneys seem jaded and don't want to fight for their cause. Please keep in mind these attorneys sometimes have to call up to 80 people a day. Of course they're going to sound jaded. If you want to help the attorney, have your situation condensed and all your questions ready when they call you back.I have spoken with both good and bad attorneys. However, my over-all experience had been positive. PS's attorney, Phung, helped me retrieve my entire deposit from an old landlord, who thought they could charge me for everything under the sun when I moved out. Attorney Phung wrote a letter on my behalf and gave me instructions every step of the way the best technique to legally have my deposit returned to me. The advice was very sound and I got my deposit back.Thank you PS and Attorney Phung!
