A Plus Evictions – Lawyer in Upland, CA

Even though a previous case was botched with this group, I decided to try them again with a simple eviction, since the person in the office seemed very helpful. Well, first, I was told one attorney would be there and another one was substituted. The paperwork did not have the attachment required for the case and the attorney noted it was a clerical error, however, she never produced the primary document required for the case. The attorney had no information when she showed up at court. Of course, a simple case was lost! The person in the office talks a good game, however, the lack of organizational skills and communication with the attorney was simply not there. I would not recommend this eviction service!

The Law Offices of Larry H Parker – Lawyer in Upland, CA

I agree with all the negative reviews. Bernice is "suppose" to be overseeing my family's case. It's been one year since our accident and Larry H. Parker's office still haven't gotten all of my dad's records. The funny part is the lady in charge of records, Mary Ann, as well as Bernice CONFIRMED they had ALL the records they needed on my dad back in August 2015. Now, the office is saying they don't have all the records. Numerous attempts have been made to get a reply from Bernice, but she is too incompetent to even call me back to try to resolve this issue.

Law Offices of Jerry L Steering – Lawyer in Upland, CA

I just got off the phone with Jerry Steering and he is an absolute jerk! I called him because my son's arm was broken yesterday when he was taken into custody, and all he had were rude and condescending things to say about him. I actually hung up half way through the conversation. He was very rude, and not helpful at all. For someone who makes their living off of defending the wounded, he sure was quick to pass judgment. He clearly was not there to help defend my son, just to find out what kind of payout he could make off our case. Poor excuse for a lawyer!!!!

Legally Yours – Lawyer in Upland, CA

First impression of a professional business was not professional! This morning I showed up at my 1st appt. at 10am interested in a rental. I waited 40 minutes, no one answered or was available in the office. I called at 11:55 The guy that I had my appointment with, Alex answered and sounded clueless and claimed the guy that was suppose to be in the office left for a wedding. Wait, "I had my appointment with you" lol Funny cuz the mail carrier told us the lady that works there just talked to him and needed her mail. I was confused and lost interest fast! I would not recommend them for a rental service that's for sure and who in the F* pays $60 each for an application? Not me! Smh

Law Offices of Jerry L Steering – Lawyer in Upland, CA

Thank God I didn't retain this attorney and watch as no ramifications be taken to officers who brutally beat my husband and broke his arm. He made a reference to his age, and because of his age, he saw anyone with tattoos as a "scum bag" or "biker trash" were his exact words. After being referred to him from someone whom also was beat by officers, I was shocked that he had the audacity to even remotely try to compare my husband who is being charged with receiving stolen property to that of a man who has raped a 16 year old girl. When I said those are completely 2 different sides of the board, he said well really they aren't in a jury's eye!!. Not sure as to why he doesn't have many reviews on YELP, but I wouldn't put your friends, family, or loved ones case in his hands. This man has no idea the amount of emotional stress myself and other victims families of police brutality. Even if my husband had committed a crime, he still has civil rights, and no where in our state, is the things that happened to my husband, allowed. why call yourself a police misconduct attorney if you have no compassion or sympathy. Totally disappointed. Appalled!

MacLyman John J Attorney At Law – Lawyer in Upland, CA

Beware of this Attorney. John Maclyman Is An ABSOLUTELY horrible attorney. I regret hiring him for me. He DOES NOT, I will repeat DOES NOT get anything done. Him and His office Staff Para Legal assistant (so she call herself) Have no idea on giving any answers. Every time you walk out of his office you feel unsure of what you are paying him for. And, trust me you will be paying for everything for nothing that gets done. You your self will have to do all the following up for them to keep on your case. You will have no idea on whats going on with you situation until you your self follow up. He will drag out you case as long as he can just to keep charging to your amount. I have a simple case that could and should of been finished within a few months, and still now 3 yrs later is still opened with money that's is spend for nothing. If you call you wont get a return call back for days or even maybe not at all (such as my case) , you will be the one to call back. And, then of course he will lie and say he tried to return the calls. Over all I am sorry to hire John Maclyman. I was referred from a different attorney office because it was not what they specialized in. I will make the attempt to contacted them as well to state the kind of attorney they are referring out.I am sure they would want to know to save their own reputation. I hope that I will save the stress and money for someone else by writing this.. And by the way, I also tried emailing them to try to get some kind of call back and their response was they don't check there email. I thought that was odd. If i can rate with Zero stars i would…

Law Offices of Marc Grossman – Lawyer in Upland, CA

I had gone to the Law Offices of Marc Grossman to retain Punam Patel Grewal as my divorce attorney and ended up with Marc Grossman due to her sudden departure from the firm shortly after I had signed with them. And so I ended up with Marc Grossman as a default choice.Marc Grossman talks a big game. I was told at the time I retained his firm that "we own the Rancho Family Court" and that signing on with his firm was akin to "ordering in a restaurant: you pay what you order for". Despite misgivings that only continued to build over the course of his representation of me I kept him on my case (and paid him tens of thousands of dollars) in order to see me through at least the first phase of my case. It is worth stating that neither of these claims turned out to be remotely true (Marc Grossman has absolutely no influence whatsoever in the San Bernardino Family Court system and was not very good in his Court Appearance). This turned out to be a major mistake. Marc Grossman talks a great deal; but it is mostly hot air. His advice to me was inconsistent and often contradictory. His firm made many mistakes in my case ranging from failing to even respond to the initial divorce filing by the opposing counsel (and so I defaulted on my divorce as a consequence) to a failure to read properly Orders After Hearing prepared by opposing Counsel (and so I was deprived of Court Ordered Holidays as a consequence). At the first Court Appearance Marc Grossman's performance was less than stellar (the opposing Counsel was fully in charge). At the second Court Appearance I was told, the day before, that he was on vacation and no one in office knew where he had gone to nor when he would be returning. The rookie that his office sent to stand in his place was totally outclassed by the opposing counsel. But the worst of it is that all of his aggression (and there is a great deal of it) seems to be channeled into "client control" and none of it seems to be channeled into representation. By the end I was trying to just keep him on as figure head because I concluded that he was doing for more damage (and all the while charging me for his time to do this damage) than good.Eventually, after year of having to listen Marc Grossman's logically inconsistent sophistry (and growing tired of being the idiot who was paying him for his nonsensical ramblings) I fired him on the grounds that having no attorney was better than being represented by Marc Grossman. Marc Grossman has no self-control and his judgment is not trustworthy.
